Videos to Play is run by a group of movie fanatics, couch potatoes, music-lovers, failed musicians, one-time journalists and the odd computer game freak. We are passionate about all types of media and collectively we have a good radar for what is cool and what is not (we hope…). Here is a break down of the categories that are currently receiving our loving attention.

Music Videos: All of our choices are based on the music that we like, this may not tally up with the current charts but we simply do not care. We want to promote music that we think has been underrated by the mainstream media and hope to give lesser known artists a platform to share their songs. Let us know if you like our choices by rating them and sharing them around with your friends.

Sports Videos: These videos will cover the whole world of sport. There has already been a lively debate over whether soccer should be named football to keep the Brits happy or American Football for the yanks. Unfortunately, we have had to bow to public pressure and go with soccer, how the mighty have fallen.

Comedy Videos: Again, we will try to push clips that we think are not represented well on other video sites. Expect lots of British comedy from the 90s and some unknown American stuff from the 70s. We are talking VHS that doesn’t exist anywhere else here!

Gaming Videos: Computers and gaming are a common interest for everyone involved with videos to play so a lot of what we are discussing between ourselves will probably end up on these pages at some point. Look out for lots of online game reviews as well as some retrospectives of older software and games.
